We are looking for team members to take an active role in the production of fiber optic infrastructure used in FPV (First Person View) systems, particularly in fiber optic tube manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in fiber optic tube production processes
- Operate production machines safely and correctly
- Perform fiber winding, coating, and buffering (buffer tube) processes
- Minimize fiber breakage, micro-bending, and signal loss (attenuation) during production
- Measure critical parameters such as diameter, ovality, and surface quality
- Support fiber testing and validation using OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer), light sources, and optical power meters
- Perform fiber termination (connectorization), fusion splicing, and cleaving
- Analyze losses and defects along the line using reflectometer measurements
- Work in compliance with occupational health and safety rules
- Maintain production records and process parameters accurately
Required Qualifications
- Preferably a graduate of a technical high school or vocational school (Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, etc.)
- Experience in fiber optic, cable production, or precision manufacturing processes is a plus
- Solid understanding of fiber optic principles (total internal reflection, core-cladding structure, etc.)
- High manual dexterity, attention to detail, and disciplined work habits
- Team-oriented and cooperative
- Able to work in a shift system
- Ability to work with micron-level tolerances
- Basic proficiency with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fiber optic production, buffer tube, or loose tube lines
- Familiarity with coating (UV coating), fiber drawing, or buffering processes
- Knowledge of OTDR measurements, insertion loss, and back reflection tests
- Experience using fusion splicer, cleaver, and fiber microscope
- Ability to troubleshoot with reflectometers and optical test equipment
- Interest or experience in FPV systems or defense industry projects
